OEGS AD 2.22 FLIGHT PROCEDURES
  • Departure procedures:
    RWY Description (Courses/Tracks in °M) Restriction
    15 Climb on Runway heading to 5000 FT; then expect radar vectors to proceed via flight planned route, continue climb to cleared flight level or follow ATC instruction. Minimum Climb Gradient: 365Ft/Nm (6.0%) up to 5000 Ft. If unable to comply, procedure not authorized.
    33 Climb on Runway heading to 5000 FT; then expect radar vectors to proceed  via flight planned route, continue climb to cleared flight level or follow ATC instructions. Minimum Climb Gradient: 365Ft/Nm (6.0%) up to 5000 Ft. If unable to comply, procedure not authorized.

     
  • Radio COM failure for Departure Gassim:
    Squawk 7600 mode A/3 climb to 5000FT on RWY heading, after passing 5000 FT, turn left/right to intercept flight plan route,
    when establish, climb to FL150, cross GAS TMA boundary at FL150 or below then climb to flight plan level
  • Radio COM failure for Approach Gassim:
    Squawk 7600 mode A/3 and proceed to OEGS VOR hold and initiate descend to maintain 6000ft within the hold, then apply procedure turn to establish final approach

2.22.2.1 Circuit directions

The standard RWY circuit directions are
  • RWY15- Left Hand
  •  RWY33- Right Hand
  •  Visual circuits are flown at ALT 3700 FT MSL
OEGS AD 2.23 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
2.23.1.   OEGS may be used as an alternate for B747-8 ACFT subject to the following limitations:

1- B747-8 ACFT all operating weight does not exceed 395 tons.
2- Only code C ACFT are allowed on apron TWY when B747-8 is parked on the parking pad and vise versa.
3- No parking pad marking is AVBL for B747-8, however royal parking is the only authorized parking for B747-8, and pilots must contact TWR for parking instructions.
