All Boeing 737-8 and 737-9 (737MAX originally certificated by the USA Federal Aviation Administration under TCDS No- A16WE) airplane operators intending flying into/from and overflying Saudi Arabian airspace must comply with the USA Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airworthiness Directive No. 2020-24-02, or an Airworthiness Directive issued by the airplane's state of registry that is in full harmonization with the FAA Airworthiness Directive No. 2020-24-02.
